About NGO
The creation of an organisation by young people from Kailaspur, one of the most distant villages in the SUNDARBANS in the southernmost region of West Bengal, coincided with August 15, 1970, the auspicious day of India's independence. On this day, the group Amara Sabai, which means "We all," embarked on a lengthy journey to celebrate "Saraswati Puja," having been founded by a small group of passionate youth. The younger group then won the elders' compassion and support by starting community service projects. Furthermore, they were able to obtain eight cents of land from a few well-wishers.
With the following goals, the organisation gradually began its community development initiatives and established connections with many other organisations, including Nimpith Rama Krishna Mission, Baruipur Palli Unnayan Samity, Rama Krishna Mission Ashrama, Narendrapur Nehru Yuva Kendra Diamond Harbour (Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India), and many other organisations
