Citizens Foundation, a non–profit organization which has evolved from its humble beginnings in Jharkhand in 1997 with its presence with pioneering work in the development sector in over 10 states of India as a national level organization including Jharkhand, Assam, Bihar, Meghalaya, Chhattisgarh, Ordisa, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Sikkim. Over the last 25 years, we have evolved expertise in sectors like Health, Sanitation, Natural Resource Management, Community Institutions, building, Training, Livelihood Promotion, and Protection. We have delivered advocacy and techno–managerial support to the rural communities and we have achieved a sustainable continuum through partnerships with Government of India, several State Governments including that of Bihar, Meghalaya and Jharkhand, UN Agencies like UNDP and UNGCNI, PSUs like BHEL, ONGC, NTPC, RITES Ltd, DVC and BPCL, Corporate Houses like Adani, Jindal Steel and Power, ESL, Usha Martin, Vedanta, HDFC Bank and JSW along with other national and international level organizations like CII, Assocham. Committed towards working for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), CF is making continued efforts at making its initiatives and projects sustainable for the community.
