THE BACKDROP:
Roynagar Society for Youth (RSFY) is one of the oldest and largest civil society organization in the West Bengal ,India
engaged in rural development since 2008. RSFY is working in more than 5 villages spread in 3 blocks of two states viz. West
Bengal under the name and style of DAY- NULM Project, SWACHATA AWARNESS CAMPAIGN project under NYKS,
Road Safety, Mobile and ATM Banking Usage and Distribution of ICE Materials to the
villagers and old age citizens, health issues of Women and Child , Education policy and challenges faced by Adolcent Girls,
also celebrate various cultural programe like Rabindra Nazrul, Jyanti, Foundation Day of Our Organization, Teachers Day,
Birth day celebration of some distinguished cemetery,
also Organize Seminars/Webinar on various social issues like “Women Migrant Workers and Labour Law &
Identifying gaps and exploring remedial measures”. Under NCW and individually organized by RSFY to these Topics
Women and child Health , harassment in Online Cab Service, MRP Redressed, Cyeber Security Management, National
Education policy Etc.
Organized Sports Events Inter Club Carrom Competion, Inter Club Cricket & Football Tournaments
Organized Saraswati, Biswakarma Puja Lakshmi Puja In RSFY Premises.
Also Conduct Vocational training under SWAWLAMBAN scheme (WEST BENGAL WOMEN DEVELOPMENT
UNDERTAKING- A GOVT. OF WEST BENGAL UNDERTAKING DEPT. OF WOMEN & CHILD DEVELOPMENT
WELLFARE) Name of the projects indicates their operational head office only but each of them covers numbers of villages
and blocks and also works with different thematic areas. All the project areas of RSFY are situated in the remotest corners of
the states like Sonarpur , Baruipur and Kolkata to contribute to the improvement of Rural People through the awareness
,sensitization ,vocational training program
.Ourintegrated development activities in rural sector to achieve thisMission, the society enhance itsrole as:
a) integrated development and service agency
b) A leading Institution in Rural West Bengal for Minorities for Research Development in Socio , Health , and Economic
Development and a centre for Excellence for Proper Education and necessity of Computer Training to helping carrier
build-up.
c) Background:-
This Roynagar Society For Youth is Established on 07/05/2008 as Rgd. No S/1L/52178 and become Affiliated by
Nehru Yuva Kendra Kolkata(South ) Under the Ministry of Sports Affairs and Youth , Government of India, as per vide
affiliation No:- 167403/NYK/6221/2018-2019 DT- 31/08/2018.
d) There is a say that educate a man and an individual, educate women and the people who belongs to poor livelihood, it
provides the following courses:-
a) Information Technology
b) Financial Accounting,
c) Desk Top Publishing &Tailoring, Beautician etc.
d) Office Management
e) Life Skills and formal Education towards Women & Child , Unemployed youths
e) To enhance the capacity through conscientisation, awareness and skill development towardsrestoration of the rights of
socially excluded, economically marginal, politically deprived and culturally weaker section of the society of India.
f) To increase the economic viability of the ultra poor and the families belong below the poverty line sub marginal
through farm and non-farm income generation activities.
g) To improve the health status of the referral community through preventive and curative health services.
h) To provide education facilities towards continuation of education for the dropped out, non- school going children of
the vulnerable families.
i) To empower the women community against all socio-cultural discrimination and creation of their economic
sustenance.
j) To restore ecological harmony through environment management and make the village populace environment
friendly.
k) To reform and reconstruct the infrastructural facilities in the villages for disaster risk reduction and sustenance of life
and living.
l) To be aware of poor rural old age people through the usage of technological skill about banking and financial
Transaction , MRP Grievance Redressal , Net Banking , using of Debit/Credit Cards
m) To Conduct Skill Training for Unemployed Youth for Employment Generation.
n) To provide Financial Assistance from Various State Gov. Scheme towards Unemployed Youth like, MUDRA

o) Operating livelihood Project(Train and Palcement Model) for SHG Members and local unemployed women in Kamrabad G.P under
Sonarpur BDO with Soft Toys Making. Since 2023.
p) Conduct 1 day Viksit Bharat Declamation Contest Sponsored by Nehru Yuva Kendra Kolkata(South ) Under the Ministry of Sports
Affairs and Youth , Government of India, with 30 Participants their ages between 18 to 35 .
