BCC&I is presenting a CSR Pitch Session on 7th of November 2023

As a precursor to the second edition of the 2023 Social Leadership Awards on December 7, The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCC&I) organized a CSR pitch session on November 7, Tuesday, at the ITC Room of The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The session brought together corporates and NGOs to promote and discuss CSR initiatives undertaken across Kolkata and West Bengal. The idea was to provide a platform to understand and recognize social projects that are making a difference besides allowing corporates and NGOs to come together to take their outstanding work forward.

A total of 13 organizations attended the event, including corporates like Exide Industries Limited., CESC Limited., Infinity Group, Tide Water Oil Company I Limited., M.L. Dalmiya & Co. Ltd., and Tata Metaliks Ltd as well as NGOs such as Kathakali Swapnorupon Welfare Society (KSWS), Young Men's Welfare Society (YMWS), Calcutta Foundation, Vihaan, Sishu Tirtha, Rangeen Khidki Foundation and Pickle Factory.

Several thought-provoking and impactful ideas were exchanged such as the protection of women's rights, children's education, and dissemination of culture through dance, among others.

Going forward, BCC&I will continue to bring together corporates and NGOs to facilitate mutual growth, cooperation, and empowerment.
