On July 5, 2024, the Tagore Foundation School hosted a significant event focused on promoting inclusive education for 194 underprivileged and special students. Funded by Exide Industries Ltd and implemented by The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the initiative provided these students with essential school items, including uniforms, shoes, blazers, and stationery. More than 20 employees from Exide and BCC&I spent the day with the children, participating in various activities. The event was marked by enthusiasm and joy, highlighting the positive impact of such support on the students' academic journey. By addressing their immediate needs, this project underscores the importance of inclusive education and demonstrates the commitment of Exide Industries Ltd to fostering a supportive and equitable learning environment for all.
