At the early age of 17, she got married and became a mother of a boy. She had no idea about the concept of care during the period of pregnancy and the components of birth preparedness for safe delivery. During that time BITAN Cluster Supervisors were able to explain to her the advantages of Institutional delivery and motivate her to make a Mother and Child Protection Card for her benefit. After attending several sensitization programs arranged by BITAN and understanding the importance of consumption of nutritious food during the time of pregnancy and  getting familiar with the concept of ANC and PNC check up and then day by day she became more interested with activities of  “Save Lives” project and later join the project as a part of Mahila Aroyga Samiti (MAS) member. She is also very active in arrangement of community meeting, accompanying  beneficiaries towards hospital during the time of delivery and  making the beneficiaries aware of taking proper care during the time of delivery. After seeing the dedication shown by her towards the project  and contributions made by her to aware the beneficiaries on the concept of mother and child health related issues, Team BITAN decided to give her an opportunity to join as a professional in the “Save Lives” Project in the year of 2023 and presently she is an economically independent person as working  successfully as a Team member of BITAN family.

Her successful journey of life undoubtedly will inspire any lady who were the victim of an early marriage!
